This painted egg reminds me of Ukrainain Easter eggs. I wonder what kind of egg this one is.

This is an emu egg, which is a native Austalian flightless bird. The eggs measure about 6 inches (15 cm) high. The thickness of the shells are about 2-3 millimeters. These shells are thick enough to be carved on.
